Massive WWE legend may kickoff RAW’s debut on Netflix; it’s not The Rock, says veteran

WWE RAW is set to debut on Netflix this Monday. A wrestling veteran suggested a massive legend could kick off the historic show.

John Cenawill embark on his farewell tour this Monday when he appears on the premiere of RAW on Netflix. The Leader of the Cenation is expected to have one final full-time run before hanging up his boots by the end of this year. Meanwhile, The Rock is also rumored to appear on the red brand next week. Speaking on The Coach and Bro Show, wrestling veteran Jonathan Coachman suggested that The Final Boss could kick off RAW on Netflix.

While his co-host, former WWE head writer Vince Russo, agreed, he suggested the only other way would be to have Cena start the show, pointing out that casual fans may not know other superstars, including Roman Reigns:

“I mean, the only other way I think you could do it is Cena. That may be the only other way. If it’s not Cena and it’s not Rock, bro, a lot of casual [fans], bro, don’t know Roman Reigns. They stopped watching a long time ago,” he said. [From 40:16 to 40:33]

Wrestling veteran thinks John Cena should fight absent WWE Superstar

Since losing the United States Championship to LA Knight at SummerSlam, Logan Paul has been absent from WWE TV. On the RAW on Netflix Kickoff event, The Maverick appeared to announce that he would be joining the red brand.

Speaking on the Cafe de Rene podcast, wrestling veteranBin Hamin suggestedPaul should square off against Cena:

“There was word that it was gonna be him vs. Logan Paul. But now that that’s possibly kiboshed, I think that’s the best match possible for him. Logan Paul has delivered in every match that he’s had. Like, incredibly, way more than you would ever expect him to,” he said.

With Cena’s appearance on RAW this Monday confirmed it would be interesting to see if he will indeed kick off the show.
