The 2025 rollout includes live broadcasts of AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision with standard commercial breaks, followed by commercial-free versions available after a brief delay. Dave Meltzer discussed the specifics of this new content distribution on Wrestling Observer Radio.
All of these shows — ‘Collision,’ and ‘Dynamite,’ and the old shows as well — they are going to end up, in time, being commercial-free. I believe the delay will be a week, maybe 10 days.
The commercial-free versions mirror the format available to international viewers on TrillerTV, though Bryan Alvarez noted that the Max versions of 2025’s initial episodes have some time trimmed from the original two-hour broadcasts. These cuts primarily affect non-wrestling segments typically shown during commercial breaks.
Max’s AEW library currently features “Dynamite” episodes from 2019, along with that year’s special events and pay-per-views. The platform plans to expand its archive over time, though “AEW Rampage,” which concluded in late 2024, has not yet been added to the service.
