While describing the action, Michael Cole recalled a previous instance where Damian Priest utilized the same maneuver against Edge, back when Edge was an active competitor in WWE several years ago.
The steel cage contest concluded after Damian Priest incapacitated Drew McIntyre with the Con-Chair-To. Following this, Priest walked out of the cage uncontested to secure the victory.
The Con-Chair-To is a maneuver notably associated with Edge and Christian Cage, who are recognized for popularizing it. Edge continues to use the move in AEW.
