MJF to Make Major Decision on AEW Future Next Week

MJF will officially join The Hurt Syndicate by signing a contract on the upcoming May 21st edition of AEW Dynamite, after a calculated campaign.

MJF to Make Major Decision on AEW Future Next Week

MJF is scheduled to sign a contract on the May 21st AEW Dynamite, cementing his place within The Hurt Syndicate. This development follows MJF’s insistence that his legal representative, Mark Sterling, first examine the agreement.

The Hurt Syndicate, featuring MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin, presented MJF with the membership offer. This occurred during the Dynamite Beach Break event, where all three members gave their approval.

Bobby Lashley’s eventual endorsement was pivotal, as he initially resisted MJF’s inclusion. While MVP and Shelton Benjamin were quicker to accept the former AEW World Champion, Lashley demanded more.

Lashley explicitly told MJF that material wealth was not the group’s primary concern. He emphasized their focus on “hurting people” and required MJF to display this aggressive nature.

To meet this demand, MJF targeted and attacked the tag team Top Flight on an episode of AEW Dynamite in Detroit. This act seemingly convinced Lashley of MJF’s suitability for the faction.
