Multiple Superstars Express Interest in Facing Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41

After Kevin Owens' injury announcement, Karrion Kross and Sheamus have both stepped forward as potential replacements to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41.

Two WWE superstars have publicly expressed interest in stepping into the WrestleMania 41 spotlight against Randy Orton following Kevin Owens’ unexpected withdrawal from the event. Karrion Kross and Sheamus have both put their names forward as potential replacements for the high-profile match in Las Vegas.

The situation developed after Kevin Owens revealed during the April 4 edition of SmackDown that he requires neck surgery, forcing him to withdraw from his scheduled bout with Orton. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis subsequently informed Orton that his match was canceled, which prompted the 14-time world champion to deliver an RKO to the authority figure.

Karrion Kross addressed the situation during a Wrestle Zone interview, stating:

I’m very upset about what happened with Kevin. I don’t know who Randy’s opponent is going to be, but if they asked me, I would do it without thinking twice. It would be amazing if it happened in Las Vegas, where I got my big break and is still very much my home.

Sheamus took a more direct approach on social media, simply indicating his availability should WWE require his services for the event.

Randy Orton has been absent from in-ring competition since the February 1 Royal Rumble. While WWE has not yet announced who will face the veteran performer, his participation at WrestleMania 41 appears secure despite the last-minute change of plans.

With WrestleMania 41 rapidly approaching, WWE management will need to make a quick decision regarding Orton’s opponent for the two-night spectacular in Las Vegas.
