MVP breaks silence on Triple H's plans for Hurt Business in WWE - "Your idiocy is actually quite impressive"

MVP addressed a previous situation regarding The Hurt Business and potential plans for the group during his WWE tenure. In a now-deleted post on social media, MVP discussed how WWE initially considered transforming The Hurt Business into a new version of The Nation of Domination.

“There was a moment during the ‘PC Era’ when the old man wanted to turn ‘The Hurt Business’ into NOD 2.0. He even brought in Mark [Henry] & Ron [Simmons]. We fought him on it. Our group was NEVER about RACE. It’s always been about our organic friendship and desire to make money doing what we love!” MVP wrote.

When a fan suggested Triple H was responsible and criticized MVP’s stance, he responded: “Your idiocy is actually quite impressive. Salute.”

MVP shares story of Hurt Syndicate’s friendship origins at WWE

The bond between MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin extends beyond their on-screen personas. During an appearance on “AEW Close Up” with Renee Paquette, MVP recalled their friendship’s beginnings at the Staples Center.

“We were in the Staples Center, and there was a ball of tape and a trash can in the corner. I didn’t really know them yet. They were betting $20 who could make the ball of tape in the trash. Bobby didn’t want to pay,” MVP shared.

Shelton Benjamin emphasized their connection: “We’re actually brothers. This is almost two decades of friendship. At one point, we each were competitors against each other. Over the years, we’ve formed a strong bond to now, it’s more of a brotherhood than a friendship.”
