Bryan Alvarez has provided a stark update regarding Jade Cargill’s status on Wrestling Observer Live, contradicting recent speculation about her absence. “Jade Cargill is injured, and it’s serious, and I don’t know when she’s going to be back,” Alvarez stated.
The situation started after Cargill was attacked backstage and left on a car hood during the November 22 SmackDown. Various reports emerged since then, with PWInsider suggesting she was pursuing non-wrestling ventures and vacationing in the Bahamas.
Cargill’s injury has impacted multiple planned appearances. She was removed from both the women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series by Bayley and the Women’s United States Championship tournament by Lash Legend.
Despite the reported severity of her condition, Cargill and Bianca Belair remain Women’s Tag Team Champions. Naomi has stepped in to replace Cargill in upcoming title defenses, similar to when Piper Niven replaced Sonya Deville as Chelsea Green’s partner in 2023.
