Next Challenger for LA Knight’s United States Championship Set

Solo Sikoa's interference against Braun Strowman during Friday's SmackDown in Italy caused Jacob Fatu to lose by disqualification, creating visible tension within The Bloodline.

Tension emerged within The Bloodline ranks on WWE SmackDown in Bologna, Italy when Solo Sikoa’s unexpected interference led to Jacob Fatu losing his match against Braun Strowman by disqualification.

The confrontation began when Strowman met LA Knight backstage before the match. Knight, who recently recaptured the United States Championship from Shinsuke Nakamura, learned his next challenger would be determined by the outcome of the Fatu-Strowman clash.

During the competitive match, Tama Tonga first attempted to assist Fatu but was thwarted when Strowman neutralized his interference attempt. The match reached its decisive moment when Solo Sikoa unexpectedly inserted himself into the action.

Sikoa’s intervention prompted the referee to call for the bell, disqualifying Fatu. The Samoan Werewolf appeared visibly frustrated with Sikoa’s actions as they cost him a potential United States Championship opportunity.

The Bloodline members continued their assault on Strowman after the match until LA Knight rushed to the ring for the save. The two competitors cleared the ring of their attackers, with Knight suddenly realizing the match outcome meant Strowman would be his next challenger.

Following the chaotic scene, an upset Jacob Fatu was seen leaving the arena, clearly at odds with Solo Sikoa’s leadership decision. The commentators confirmed that LA Knight will defend the United States Championship against Braun Strowman next week when SmackDown emanates from London’s O2 Arena.
