Nick Aldis hints fan-favorite SmackDown star may get push soon
Nick Aldis discussed Chelsea Green’s WWE career during an interview with Chris Van Vliet, highlighting her dedication to her current role. Aldis noted that while Green’s present position might differ from her initial aspirations, she has fully embraced the opportunity.
“I’m sure that this probably isn’t what she first had in mind and I don’t want to speak for her, but I would bench to say it probably isn’t what she envisioned a long time ago. But man, has she taken this and run with it,” Aldis said.
The SmackDown General Manager revealed that Green has become a favorite among WWE producers due to her professional approach. “She is one of the producers’ favorite talent to work with, I’ll say that. She’s business, she is business,” he added.
Green, who returned to WWE during last year’s Royal Rumble, has consistently delivered entertaining performances, particularly in comedic segments. She now aims to secure her place in history by pursuing the newly announced WWE Women’s United States Championship.
