The former main roster member of the company directly addressed the situation that has affected his career in recent weeks. In his statement, Jones provided context to the situation.

I am making this video to address the false accusations. These allegations came from someone I have been in contact with. I apologize for taking so long to speak out about these false accusations, but I have had to wait patiently to get a restraining order in place to protect my family, friends, and myself.

Jones explained that he is taking legal action against the accusations, although he cannot provide additional details at the moment. In his statement, he also expressed gratitude to WWE for his time with the company.

I want to thank WWE for this incredible opportunity. Thank you for giving me this platform. I also want to thank the creative team for putting me in a position to succeed, as well as the fans for their support since day one. The journey continues. I am ready to get back to doing what I love. I am accepting bookings for 2025 and I thank everyone for their support and time.

Jones joined the main roster during the 2023 Draft, being assigned to RAW. However, the lack of creative plans kept him off television for over a year, until his return in early August.
