Paul Heyman betraying Roman Reigns to join forces with former WWE champion should have happened, says veteran (Exclusive)

Wrestling veteran Vince Russo suggests WWE missed an opportunity by not pairing Paul Heyman with Solo Sikoa following The Wiseman’s removal from The Bloodline. The critique emerged during a recent episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW podcast.

“They dropped the ball on that dude. He should’ve been bulletproof until Roman Reigns came back. Regardless, why didn’t they keep Heyman around and let him go with Sikoa to really build Sikoa. They could have let Heyman do the talking, he could have still been in that Enforcer role. Wouldn’t that have been more valuable than sitting Heyman home for 3 months?” Russo stated.

Heyman departed television in June 2024 after refusing to acknowledge Sikoa as Tribal Chief, leading to his removal from The Bloodline. While absent from broadcasts, sources indicate Heyman remains involved in storyline development backstage.

Reports suggest Heyman will reunite with Roman Reigns and the original Bloodline members upon his return. The 59-year-old has maintained a presence at multiple WWE events despite his on-screen absence.
