Paul Heyman discussed his WWE Hall of Fame induction during an appearance on Logan Paul’s IMPAULSIVE podcast. Heyman revealed his conversation with WWE regarding the content of his speech at the ceremony in Philadelphia.
They’ll never give me that platform again. I mean if we’re gonna do it in Philadelphia, and that was one of the impetuses … if you want me to do this in Philly, it’s not going to be family-friendly, PG Paul Heyman, The Wiseman … you put me in Philly, we’re going for it. And they’re like, ‘Yeah, that’s what we want out of it.’
Heyman reflected on his career achievements and opportunities during the podcast:
I think there is a lot of humility in what I offer as self-presentation. But I also have a lot of self-awareness and … I understand the legitimacy of my body of work, and I understand the opportunities that I’ve had, and the blessings I’ve had and been able to exploit.
Heyman continues his role as Roman Reigns’ special counsel, recently announcing Reigns’ entry into the 2025 Royal Rumble match.
Paul Heyman Discusses Cody Rhodes’ WWE Championship Run
Paul Heyman addressed Cody Rhodes’ impact as WWE Champion during his IMPAULSIVE podcast appearance.
Cody Rhodes is the champion. If there’s anybody right now — my God — he’s a commerce facilitator. He sells tickets, he sells t-shirts, he sells weight belts, he sells replica title belts that he signs. He drives commerce. A workhorse. My God, man. And he’s doing it on his days off too. The commitment he has to promote the product goes along with it.
Rhodes prepares to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens at the Royal Rumble on February 1st in Indianapolis. The match includes the Winged Eagle WWE Championship, which Owens captured from Rhodes.
