Penta expressed his championship ambitions following his WWE RAW debut victory over Chad Gable on January 13. In a backstage interview, Penta described his debut as “the best night of my life” and outlined his goals within WWE.

Everything. I come here to give my best every show, every night, everything. I want to win everything here. I finally achieved my dream of being in WWE and today I don’t plan on quitting. I’ve come to win everything there is to win in WWE.

Prior to joining WWE, Penta competed in AEW from 2019, where he captured the AEW Tag Team Championship with Rey Fenix and the AEW Trios Championship alongside Fenix and Pac.

While fans anticipated both Penta and Fenix departing AEW together, Fenix’s contract extension prevented a simultaneous transition.
