Popular WWE faction makes a bold claim following loss on SmackDown

A popular WWE faction recently made a bold claim after one of its members suffered a defeat on Friday Night SmackDown. The 27-year-old star got a lucky shot to earn a title opportunity. However, Lash Legend saw her victory stolen from her.

The Meta Four member squared off against Piper Niven and Mia Yim in a Triple Threat qualifier match for the WWE Women’s United States Championship. Lash Legend had gotten a spot in the bracket as a replacement for Jade Cargill, who is off television due to a recent ambush.

Making the most of it, Legend powered through both Michin and Niven and put up a great fight. She also displayed a great show of strength by delivering a Chokeslam as well as her finisher, Lash Extension, to Niven. But she couldn’t secure the pinfall after this as Mia Yim stole the pin to win the match.

Lash Legend was later seen backstage with her teammate Jakara Jackson, where she was approached by Byron Saxton for an interview. He asked for Legend’s comments on the loss, to which the duo said that The Meta Four member never lost. Moreover, they also said that they will always be close to winning a WWE title in the future.

It would be interesting to see if this confidence converts into a title victory for Jackson and Legend anytime soon.
