Popular WWE Superstar claims CM Punk makes him a worse person

CM Punk has been among the most controversial WWE Superstars. A former champion recently held The Second City Saint responsible for making him a worse version of himself.

The 46-year-old is currently feuding with Seth Rollins. After several verbal as well as physical attacks, the two arch-rivals are set to lock horns inside the squared circle in a highly anticipated contest on Monday Night RAW’s Netflix premiere on January 6.

In a recent interview with Jackie Redmond, Seth Rollins opened up about CM Punk’s effect on his personal life. The Visionary stated that Sami Zayn was correct in pointing out that The Best in the World made Rollins the worst version of himself. The former WWE Champion added that he could not control himself every time Punk’s name appeared.

“And Sami Zayn said something to me a few weeks back on RAW. He told me that CM Punk makes me the worst version of myself. It makes me, like, I’m not Seth Rollins anymore. And when he kinda said that to me, it really struck a nerve because it’s true. Every time CM Punk has been brought up in the past decade, whether it be interviews or conversations, there’s this switch that just goes off in my mind, and I can’t seem to find a way to turn it off,” Rollins said. Seth Rollins further claimed that his hatred for CM Punk was so great that it made him a worse friend, husband, father, and person in general, making him hate himself.

“And it affects everything that I do. CM Punk makes me a worse person. And I realized when I went home that week, he makes me a worse friend, he makes me a worse husband, he makes me a worse father. He makes me hate myself because I’m so consumed with this hatred. And I don’t want that. I don’t want that for myself. It’s not healthy. It’s not healthy for my life, for my career, for my family,” Rollins added. [From 9:30 to 10:00]

Wrestling veteran makes bold prediction for CM Punk vs Seth Rollins

Speaking on a recent Live Q&A on Backstage Pass, NWA Hall of Famer Bill Apter predicted the upcoming match between CM Punk and Seth Rollins would not be their last.

The legendary wrestling journalist believes the feud would go on for a few months and commence with a Steel Cage Match. Apter added that the two stars would brawl during their match on RAW’s Netflix Premiere, which could lead to intervention from the security.

“It’s gonna be the first but not last time. It’s gonna last several months. I assume that it will wind up in a cage match. I don’t know what they’re gonna do in the first match, but it can’t be a wrestling match with holds and headlocks. It’s gotta be a real brawl and hell of a lot of police or security guards pulling [them apart] etc,” he said. [From 08:50 onwards]

It will be interesting to see who among the two megastars starts their Netflix Era journey with a win.
