WWE SmackDown opened in Bologna, Italy with Kevin Owens attempting to form an alliance with Randy Orton. Owens tried to apologize for his previous attacks while suggesting they should team up for a WWE Tag Team Championship pursuit at WrestleMania 41.

Orton showed no interest in Owens’ partnership proposal. Instead, he expressed that the voices in his head were telling him to kick Owens’ head “clean off his shoulder,” effectively challenging him to a singles match at WrestleMania.

Although WWE has not officially confirmed this match with graphics, the direct challenge strongly indicates it will be added to the WrestleMania card soon.

The WrestleMania 41 card currently includes five confirmed matches: Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against John Cena, Tiffany Stratton defending the WWE Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair, Gunther defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso, Iyo Sky defending the Women’s World Championship against Bianca Belair, and the newly developing Randy Orton versus Kevin Owens bout.
