RAW GM posts cryptic message after Randy Orton’s SmackDown departure
RAW GM Adam Pearce shares mysterious post following Randy Orton's SmackDown exit, as The Viper faces uncertainty after Kevin Owens' brutal attack.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce shared an intriguing message following Randy Orton’s recent removal from WWE television. The post came after Kevin Owens’ brutal attack on SmackDown.
Orton made his comeback at Survivor Series 2023 after an 18-month absence, joining Cody Rhodes’ team against The Judgment Day. His return marked the end of a lengthy recovery from a career-threatening injury.
Pearce’s Instagram post featured a throwback image of Orton confronting Jeff Hardy at ringside. The RAW GM previously experienced The Viper’s fury in Saudi Arabia when attempting to break up a confrontation between Orton and Owens.
The tension between Orton and Owens escalated after The Prizefighter attacked Rhodes in the parking lot following Bad Blood in Atlanta. An accidental strike from Orton to Owens during an attempted intervention sparked their rivalry.
Triple H scheduled a bout between the two for WWE’s Saudi Arabia show. However, the match never began, instead devolving into a brawl. Owens later executed a piledriver on Orton, leading to medical personnel removing The Viper from the arena.
Given Orton’s previous injury concerns, his return timeline remains uncertain. The 14-time World Champion’s absence could potentially set up a future program with Rhodes.
