Released WWE Superstar found training with top AEW Champion
WWE recently parted ways with Indi Hartwell, who has already been spotted back in the rings. The 28-year-old talent appeared in a training session with AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné, as revealed through social media.
Moné shared an image featuring herself, Hartwell, and Harley Cameron during their training. The TBS Champion captioned the post with “Work hard, play hard.”
The training session comes just weeks after Hartwell’s WWE departure was announced on November 1, alongside Baron Corbin and Tegan Nox. Prior to this, Hartwell had shared through her YouTube channel that the release came as an unexpected development.
Notably, Bayley showed support for Hartwell by sharing a photograph from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, where Hartwell’s final WWE bout took place during the October 25 SmackDown double taping.
WWE multi-time champion honors Indi Hartwell on SmackDown
Following Hartwell’s departure, Candice LeRae made a touching gesture on SmackDown. The current Women’s Speed Champion and former NXT Women’s Champion performed their signature entrance routine, raising her hand for their traditional high-five motion – this time, without her longtime partner.
LeRae’s tribute highlighted their strong partnership, developed through their time competing together.
The Poison Pixie now continues her path on SmackDown, where she remains involved in an ongoing situation with Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton.
