Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com addressed recent speculation regarding Britt Baker’s status with AEW. Reports had suggested Baker was “wildly unpopular” in the women’s locker room and that Tony Khan might be limiting her television appearances.
After speaking with multiple people within AEW, the Britt Baker stories circulating online today appear to be blown way out of proportion. While she’s not currently being used, and there don’t seem to be any immediate plans for her, there’s no truth to the idea that she’s finished with the company.

Baker last competed on the November 13, 2024, episode of AEW Dynamite, defeating Penelope Ford. Following the match, Serena Deeb appeared on stage, leading to an exchange where Baker stated “Nobody cares.” Deeb later wore a shirt with “Nobody Cares” printed on it during her December 7 AEW Collision match.
Neither Baker nor Deeb have competed in AEW since these events.
Wade Keller Addresses Adam Cole’s Non-Involvement
I am told the Adam Cole situation is not stopping her. There should be no heat on Adam Cole, he has nothing to do with her not being on TV…Obviously, she had some standout moments in AEW and became a star and was seen as a centrepiece act, but even back then I was hearing about her reputation and being unpopular in certain circles, and difficult to work with, and being fiercely territorial of her role in the company in a way that just felt unsustainable.
Keller discussed Tony Khan’s current position regarding Baker’s television appearances:
From what I’m hearing, at least the attitude right now at the moment, the belief is Tony Khan is fed up enough that he’s just gonna focus his TV time on others. I don’t know what that means in terms of her pay and her contract and it’s possible eventually things will change…At this point in asking around, you should not expect to see her back imminently.
