Rhea Ripley reacts after iconic moment on first WWE RAW on Netflix

Rhea Ripley reflected on her memorable encounter with The Undertaker following her Women’s World Championship victory over Liv Morgan on WWE RAW’s Netflix premiere. The Deadman made a surprise appearance after the match, sharing a fist bump with Ripley on the entrance ramp.

At the post-show press conference, The Eradicator discussed the significance of the moment:

Honestly, I thought that kicking Dom in the nuts was gonna be the highlight. [laughs] And then Taker came out and — yeah, honestly it’s such a special moment. I’ve been able to be in the ring with people I watched growing up, the greats. I’ve been able to go out there while I was part of the Judgment Day and step in the ring with people that I would never think that I could step in the ring with.

Ripley continued to express her excitement about the encounter:

But now, after winning my baby back, my Women’s Championship and having the Dead Man come out, hearing the ‘dong’ in real life, it was absolutely insane. It’s a moment I’m never going to forget. Like, watching him growing up I thought he was absolutely amazing. And I can’t wait to be rubbing this in Damian Priest’s face.

Original plans called for Becky Lynch appearance

The segment originally had different plans. According to Bodyslam, Becky Lynch was in attendance and scheduled to appear during the Women’s World Championship match. The report indicates Lynch’s return was replaced by The Undertaker’s appearance, though she is still expected to make her WWE comeback soon.

Lynch has been absent from WWE programming since June 2024 when her contract expired. Her future direction, including potential WrestleMania plans, will become clearer upon her return.
