Rhea Ripley made an unexpected appearance at Saturday Night’s Main Event to confront Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan after her successful title defense against IYO SKY.
Morgan retained her championship against the Damage CTRL member in a competitive match, securing the victory with her finisher, Oblivion. The win marked over 200 days of her title reign.
The confrontation occurred as Morgan was leaving the arena alongside Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez. Ripley later posted on social media: “Determination creates champions… and jealousy from sheep. Soon.👑”
This interaction follows Ripley’s recent victory over Rodriguez in an Anything Goes Match on RAW, where she secured the win after executing a Riptide through a table.
Wrestling journalist Bill Apter discussed Ripley’s impact during The Wrestling Time Machine show. “Rhea Ripley changed the tide, the riptide there. Rhea Ripley redefined the female end of WWE,” Apter said, also praising the performances of Nia Jax and Morgan throughout the year.
This would mark the third championship encounter between Morgan and Ripley if a match materializes.
