Roxanne Perez established a new Women’s Royal Rumble record at the 2025 event, lasting one hour, seven minutes, and 47 seconds before Charlotte Flair eliminated her. WWE sources indicate consideration of her main roster promotion since early January.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that WWE views Perez as prepared for a main roster position. A WWE main roster source noted that Perez demonstrated readiness “from a performance perspective for a long time.”

Perez addressed her accomplishment in a WWE digital exclusive interview with Byron Saxton.

Of course, you want to talk about how I got eliminated by Charlotte Flair, don’t you? But you don’t want to talk about how I broke the record. And now I have the longest record at 1 hour, 7 minutes and 47 seconds in the Royal Rumble. That’s right, Byron. I’m a history maker.

Roxanne Perez Has Been a Regular Presence in NXT

The 23-year-old competitor currently maintains a presence in NXT, where she feuds with Bayley. During her NXT tenure, Perez captured the NXT Women’s Championship twice and secured victories in both the Breakout Tournament and Iron Survivor Challenge.

I made history in NXT. A two time NXT Women’s champion, breakout winner, Iron Survivor winner. I make history. And I’m going to continue to do the same exact thing here on the main roster. So girls, get ready. Because I don’t think you all are ready for the Prodigy.
