Roman Reigns could become highest-paid WWE wrestler ever
WWE has entered discussions with Roman Reigns regarding a landmark contract extension that could make him the highest-paid superstar in company history. According to Slice Wrestling, the multi-year, multi-million dollar deal aims to secure the future of The Tribal Chief, whose current contract reportedly expires in 2025.
Reigns, who transformed from SmackDown’s leading antagonist to a fan favorite, has been central to WWE’s success through The Bloodline Saga. After losing his world championship at WrestleMania XL following a historic 1,316-day reign, Reigns returned in August as the OTC to confront his cousin Solo Sikoa, who had claimed the mantle of Tribal Chief.
The Original Tribal Chief’s influence extends beyond his own storylines, particularly in elevating other talents like Jey Uso. Speaking with Peter Rosenberg, Jey recently opened up about reuniting with his brother Jimmy after their separation.
“It was great, man. I was really happy to see my brother,” Jey said. “I’ve never been on the road alone. I always had somebody in the car with me—my brothers, driving, talking. It was a little lonely out there sometimes.”
The OG Bloodline, now including Sami Zayn, is preparing for a WarGames match against Solo Sikoa’s faction and Bronson Reed at Survivor Series on November 30 in Vancouver’s Rogers Arena. The team is currently seeking their fifth member for the encounter.
Reigns’ previous contract was signed in August 2022, though its duration was not made public.
