Roman Reigns Faces Betrayal Ahead of Survivor Series
On the latest Friday Night SmackDown, Roman Reigns finally reached out to Paul Heyman, seemingly after several requests from Jey Uso.
Reigns has faced setbacks since his return following his absence after WrestleMania, including a fierce assault from The Bloodline, led by Solo Sikoa, who has recently brought Bronson Reed on board as a potential fifth member for the WarGames match.
At the end of the show, Reigns made the long-awaited call to the “Wiseman,” only to find out that Heyman’s number was unavailable.
Here are three possible reasons for what happened:
Paul Heyman may have already cheated on Roman Reigns
After this segment on SmackDown, fans are convinced that Paul Heyman can never truly become a babyface. The WWE Universe has started speculating that the “Wiseman” may have already betrayed Reigns.
It’s possible that the “Special Counsel” has quietly teamed up with Solo Sikoa, despite Sikoa previously ordering an attack on him and kicking him out of the stable. This could explain why he deliberately ignored Reigns’ call when he went AWOL.
When Heyman eventually makes his return, he could start off by pretending to support Reigns, only to later reveal his true intentions by turning on him and joining Sikoa’s stable.
Solo Sikoa previously destroyed his phone on SmackDown
One possible reason Reigns wasn’t able to reach Paul Heyman is that Heyman’s phone was previously smashed by Solo Sikoa on SmackDown. This happened after WrestleMania XL when Heyman tried to call Reigns while in the ring with the new Bloodline.
Noticing this, Sikoa smashed Heyman’s phone, which many believe is why it’s been out of service ever since.
Paul Heyman still hasn’t recovered from his past attack
Paul Heyman was viciously attacked by Solo Sikoa on Friday Night SmackDown, and no one came to his aid during that horrifying moment. It’s possible he’s still shaken up by what happened and has chosen to cut off communication with everyone.
Heyman might now want to completely distance himself from the Bloodline storyline, showing no interest in aligning with either Reigns or Sikoa.
This might explain why the “Wiseman’s” phone was out of service when Reigns tried to reach him.
