Roman Reigns’ legendary WWE rival could become 5th member of the OG Bloodline, says former star, for Survivor Series: WarGames
Roman Reigns etched his name in history books during his 1316-day reign as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. However, the Original Tribal Chief has a monumental task ahead of him in Canada. Meanwhile, former WWE star Matthew Rehwoldt (FKA Aiden English) said Cody Rhodes, who ended Reigns’ legendary run at WrestleMania XL, could be the final member of the OTC’s team in the upcoming WarGames Match.
Earlier this year, Cody Rhodes did the unthinkable, as he ended the Original Tribal Chief’s legendary reign at The Show of Shows. However, the two have been on the same page since then, primarily feuding with Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline on Friday Night SmackDown. Roman’s OG Bloodline will lock horns with Solo and Co. in a five-on-five WarGames Match at the Survivor Series: WarGames PLE.
Speaking on REBOOKED, the erstwhile Aiden English said that Cody Rhodes would agree to team up with the OG Bloodline for WarGames, as The American Nightmare didn’t have a title match for the event.
“Hundred percent, it’s Cody [Rhodes]. Cody does not have a world title match or anything like Damian [Priest] and Gunther’s kinda set. There’s nothing on the horizon for him really either, if you think about it. So who teamed with Roman [Riegns] once before?” he said. [From 31:34 to 32:00]

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes teamed up to take on The Bloodline at WWE Bad Blood
Earlier this year, Roman Reigns returned to WWE TV with a mission and went after Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline. However, the Original Tribal Chief was outnumbered by Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu on the blue brand.
The former Universal Champion had no allies on the brand, except for one. Before his shocking return at WWE SummerSlam, Cody Rhodes spent months feuding with Solo Sikoa’s faction on the Friday Night Show.
Later, the two megastars decided to team up against a common enemy and faced Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match at WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta.
The event also marked two shocking returns. In the match’s final moments, Jimmy Uso made his long-awaited return and helped Reigns and Rhodes pick up the victory. In the end, The Rock also appeared and stared down the OTC, The American Nightmare, and Jimmy before mysteriously leaving.
