Roman Reigns may have subtly confirmed opponent for WWE WrestleMania 41 – “Let the internet choose”

Roman Reigns has chosen to maintain suspense regarding a potential match with The Rock, following their recent interaction at RAW’s Netflix premiere. Despite their apparent reconciliation when The Rock presented Reigns with the Ula Fala after his victory over Solo Sikoa, questions persist about a future confrontation.

During the RAW post-show press conference, Reigns addressed speculation about facing The Rock:

I don’t have to do anything. You guys do it for us. We’re just going to let the Internet do its thing. That would defeat the whole purpose of this. The Internet won’t do its thing if I said yes or no. So, we’ll see.

The path to WrestleMania 41 remains unclear for Reigns, who will enter the event without the Undisputed Championship for the first time in four years. With a rematch against Cody Rhodes appearing unlikely, new challengers may emerge.

The Rock set for NXT appearance

Following his RAW appearance, The Rock announced his participation in NXT New Year’s Evil at The Shrine Expo Hall. The announcement came as he departed the Intuit Dome:

NXT, tomorrow night at The Shrine. I’ll see you there.

His appearance holds special significance as his daughter Simone serves as NXT’s general manager. The show marks another chapter in Johnson’s recent WWE appearances, which have emphasized his family’s deep wrestling heritage, including connections to the Anoa’i dynasty that features WWE Hall of Famers Peter Maivia, Rocky Johnson, Rikishi, Yokozuna, and The Wild Samoans.

NXT New Year’s Evil will air on The CW at 8 PM, with KTLA serving as the exclusive home for weekly NXT programming.
