Roman Reigns took on Solo Sikoa in the Tribal Combat match this week on WWE RAW. It was one of the most anticipated showdowns in recent memory, and while there was interference as expected, it was Reigns who was able to come out on top.
Reigns was then announced as The OTC following his win, but ring announcer Alicia Taylor made it clear that this now stood for Only Tribal Chief since he had been able to defeat Sikoa and take back his Ula Fala.
The New Bloodline and The Original Bloodline were involved in the match, as were Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes. Owens has been vocal about his issues with The Bloodline and was there to deliver a Stunner to Roman Reigns. However, he was prevented from hitting his Piledriver when Cody Rhodes ran out, and the two men brawled into the back.
This left Roman Reigns and Sikoa in the ring, and after avoiding a Samoan Spike, Reigns was able to deliver two Spears to make sure that he was able to pin his former teammate and family member and take back his birthright.
It’s unclear if The New Bloodline and The Orignal Bloodline will now be split across brands or if there’s a way for the story to continue.
