Former WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns acknowledges the official WWE 2K25 launch trailer on social media while recovering from Seth Rollins' attack at Royal Rumble.
Roman Reigns has broken his social media silence by responding to the official launch trailer for WWE 2K25. The former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion shared his reaction on X while remaining absent from television.
Reigns has been off WWE programming since the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event. His absence began after Seth Rollins delivered a brutal post-match attack following both competitors’ eliminations from the Men’s Royal Rumble match.
The Tribal Chief entered the 30-man battle royal at #16 and delivered an impressive performance. He managed to eliminate four competitors before CM Punk orchestrated his removal from the match.
The attack from Rollins occurred immediately afterward. The Visionary ambushed his former Shield stablemate with a devastating Stomp, forcing Reigns to remain off television while recovering from the storyline injury.
The WWE 2K25 trailer that caught Reigns’ attention featured several familiar faces from his past. The video showcased original Bloodline members including Paul Heyman, The Usos, and Sami Zayn.
This social media acknowledgment marks one of Reigns’ few public communications since his Royal Rumble appearance. WWE has not officially announced when fans might expect his return to programming.
The former champion’s last televised match occurred at WrestleMania 40, where he lost the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes, ending his historic 1,316-day reign as champion.
