Roman Reigns Shocked After Calling Paul Heyman on WWE SmackDown
Friday’s WWE SmackDown featured key moments between the two factions of The Bloodline. Early in the show, a heated brawl broke out in the ring between the groups, with the momentum shifting drastically after the arrival of Bronson Reed.
Initially, the OG Bloodline held the upper hand until Reed’s surprise appearance completely changed the course of the fight. Earlier in the show, Sami Zayn attempted to bolster his team by recruiting LA Knight for the WarGames at Survivor Series, but the current United States Champion declined.
After taking a beating from Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline, Jimmy Uso made a suggestion to Roman Reigns: “Call him, cousin” — a clear reference to Paul Heyman. Reigns followed the advice and, with just minutes left on SmackDown, attempted to call the “Wiseman.” However, the former Tribal Chief found out that the number was no longer in service. In frustration, Reigns slammed the phone to the ground, closing out the show.
