Sami Zayn discussed the possibility of facing Kevin Owens following recent events at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Speaking on In The Kliq podcast, Zayn addressed Owens’ actions and their potential future encounter.
“The way it affects Kevin to see Cody teaming with Roman, I don’t know if it affects him the same way when he sees me teaming up with Roman. Those are two very different relationships,” Zayn explained. He emphasized his focus remains on current obligations, including Bloodline matters and situations with Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, and CM Punk.
The tension stems from Owens’ recent heel turn at Bad Blood, where he attacked Cody Rhodes. Owens later targeted Randy Orton with a Piledriver, leading to Orton’s departure in an ambulance. At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Owens escalated the situation by executing a Packaged Piledriver on Rhodes after their match.
Their history includes multiple WrestleMania appearances, from competing against each other at WrestleMania 32 to winning the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship together at WrestleMania 39.
