Sami Zayn shared photos on Instagram of a double date with Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin during his current WWE absence. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion has not appeared on television since his Unsanctioned Match against Kevin Owens at Elimination Chamber.
“Fine company, fine food,” Zayn captioned the social media post, which showed him dining with Culkin and their respective partners.
The Unsanctioned Match between Zayn and Owens took place in their hometown of Toronto at Elimination Chamber. The bout was arranged by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce after Zayn was not medically cleared for a standard match.
The feud between the two Canadians began when Owens attacked Zayn following his match against CM Punk on Raw. Both performers delivered an engaging and brutal contest at the premium live event, with presentation and lighting that drew positive reactions from fans.
Zayn has established a streak of championship victories at WrestleMania over the past two years.
