CM Punk and Seth Rollins erupted into a physical altercation during WWE RAW at TD Garden in Boston on December 16. The incident began when Punk addressed Rollins, stating “there aren’t enough staples in the world to put Rollins back together” and offering to provide “that pro wrestling lesson he wanted for free so many years ago.”
Rollins interrupted the promo, leading to an immediate brawl at ringside. Adam Pearce intervened backstage and officially scheduled their match for the January 6 RAW debut on Netflix.
This confrontation follows Punk’s recent involvement at Survivor Series: WarGames, where he aided Roman Reigns’ Bloodline in defeating Solo Sikoa’s faction. During the December 9 Raw episode, Punk had addressed the Rollins situation in a backstage interview, while also declining to discuss a favor owed by Paul Heyman.
