WWE star CM Punk took a subtle jab at his AEW run on the inaugural RAW edition of Netflix. The Voice of the Voiceless was a huge asset for AEW, but a series of unfortunate incidents led to his departure from the company.
At All In 2023, he defeated Samoa Joe in a spectacular contest. However, before going out through the curtain, he had a huge physical confrontation with Jack Perry. The former AEW World Champion choked the Scapegoat after being allegedly instigated. Months after the incident, AEW aired the backstage footage. The clip went viral on all social media platforms.
Fans believed Punk took a huge shot at the promotion and Jack Perry on tonight’s RAW. WWE’s flagship show made its debut on Netflix and had a great show. Punk and Seth Rollins stole the show with their entertaining main event tonight, where the Second City Saint won the match.
During the match, CM Punk came out in the same attire that he wore during the All In backstage brawl against Perry. Fans hilariously reacted to his gear, which was probably a throwback to his AEW past.
