This week’s Friday Night SmackDown was taped in advance due to Thanksgiving, with several pivotal matches and segments setting the stage for Survivor Series: WarGames. The pre-recorded episode featured multiple championship implications and a crucial advantage match.

Jacob Fatu secured a victory in his singles debut, defeating Jey Uso in the WarGames advantage match. The Samoan Werewolf sealed his win with a Springboard Moonsault, giving The New Bloodline momentum heading into Saturday’s premium live event.

In other matches, Michin advanced in the Women’s US Championship tournament by winning a Triple Threat match against Piper Niven and Lash Legend. The bout saw outside interference from Chelsea Green, prompting B-Fab to get involved and assist Michin in securing the victory.

The evening also featured Shinsuke Nakamura defeating Andrade in singles competition. Following the match, LA Knight attempted to confront his Survivor Series opponent, but Nakamura responded by spraying mist in the champion’s eyes.

WWE Champion Cody Rhodes appeared on the show, picking up a win over Carmelo Hayes in a competitive match that ended with the Cross Rhodes. Meanwhile, the Women’s WarGames match saw a major development as Bayley was confirmed as Jade Cargill’s replacement, joining forces with Rhea Ripley’s team after a backstage attack left Cargill unable to compete.

Jacob Fatu endorses Bronson Reed alliance after match victory

Following his successful singles debut, Jacob Fatu acknowledged recent messages from his new ally Bronson Reed.

The two superstars have found common ground as part of Solo Sikoa’s faction heading into Survivor Series: WarGames.

Reed previously joined The New Bloodline as their fifth member for the upcoming match in Canada. Their social media interaction suggests potential long-term plans for the alliance beyond Saturday’s premium live event.
