Former WWE Tag Team Champion Grayson Waller has expressed interest in facing CM Punk, stating he wants to give the veteran a taste of his own medicine. In an interview with Wide World of Sports, Waller outlined his desire to challenge the former world champion.
“I want to test myself against CM Punk and I want to be what he used to be. He finally deserves some karma – remember how he used to act? I want to know how it feels when you get someone on the other side of you,” Waller said.
The 34-year-old wrestler elaborated on his approach to potential opponents, particularly those he respects. “The guys I respect the most are the guys I’m going to attack the worst, because that’s how I show my respect,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Punk’s return to WWE continues to make waves. After joining The OG Bloodline as their fifth member at Survivor Series: WarGames, he has become entangled in a heated rivalry with Seth Rollins. Their confrontation on RAW initially suggested a WrestleMania matchup, but plans may change due to The Rock’s potential absence from the event.
Recent developments indicate Punk could instead face Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 41 in a World Heavyweight Championship match. Austin recently discussed his interest in participating at the Las Vegas event during an appearance on Unlikely with Adrian Hernandez.
