Tag Team Possibly Ends on WWE SmackDown
One of WWE’s top tag teams might have reached its end during this Friday’s SmackDown. During the WWE Tag Team Championship match between The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) and The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford), Tommaso Ciampa made a surprising interference.
Ciampa’s interference led to a disqualification. Johnny Gargano attempted to calm his DIY partner and talk things over, but Ciampa responded by shoving Gargano to the ground.
Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin tried to apologize to The Street Profits for the match’s outcome. However, Angelo Dawkins rejected the apology and attacked Shelley.
As a result, The Motor City Machine Guns retained the WWE Tag Team Championship.
