The Rock censored by WWE on RAW’s Netflix debut

Netflix began a new era with WWE RAW’s debut, surpassing Squid Game Season 2 in viewership. However, after the uncensored live broadcast, the platform made alterations to the available content.

The platform removed commercial breaks and censored profanity that aired during the live broadcast. The “F*** You Solo” chants were replaced with crowd booing sounds.

The opening segment with The Rock also underwent edits. Profanity used during his promo, such as “bullshit,” was muted in the edited version. As an interesting detail, the boos directed at Hulk Hogan remained intact.

There is no information yet on whether Netflix will maintain this format in the coming weeks: an uncensored live broadcast followed by an edited version without commercial breaks but with censorship. Triple H had previously commented on this possibility.

The company doesn’t need to use that kind of vocabulary to produce a great show. WWE and Netflix will evaluate this matter as time goes on.

It’s worth noting that WWE programming maintains its PG-TV rating, making a drastic change unlikely, even with RAW leaving traditional TV.

Travis Scott creates tension backstage at WWE RAW

WWE did not approve Travis Scott’s smoking entrance during WWE RAW on Netflix. The rapper was seen in the stands before accompanying Jey Uso to the ring with a lit cigarette.

Joey Votes from WrestleVotes, known for his accurate WWE information, revealed details about the unplanned moment.

The company had no prior knowledge and did not approve of the situation. However, everyone handled it well, and the show continued normally.

The moment occurred before the match between Jey Uso and Drew McIntyre. Scott briefly remained in the stands before joining Jey for his entrance. The show also featured other special appearances, including The Rock, John Cena, and Hulk Hogan.
