The Rock might make a strategic return during the Tribal Combat between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa on RAW’s Netflix premiere, according to WWE analyst Sam Roberts. A recent WrestleVotes report suggests The Final Boss will appear on the January 6 episode.
Roberts shared his predictions on Notsam Wrestling podcast: “I think, I gotta believe that The Rock shows up for Tribal Combat. I gotta believe that on January 6th we find out what side of The Bloodline, if any, The Rock has been supporting. Who’s to say The Rock doesn’t have his own Bloodline? Who’s to say The Rock hasn’t been formulating his own faction? Who’s to say The Rock is gonna support either one of them? But I think he probably will.”
The Rock last appeared at Bad Blood in October, where he directed a cryptic gesture toward Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso. Roberts speculates The Final Boss might align with Sikoa’s faction:
“And I think the idea of The Rock is flanked by Solo, Jacob, and Tama Tonga. And Jey Uso and Sami Zayn, like Roman’s whole Bloodline, is busy with like, you know, Drew McIntyre, is busy with all these other guys that now Roman Reigns is gonna have to go through this unbeatable force just to eventually get to The Rock. I mean that’s amazing to me.”
