The Rock made his second consecutive appearance in WWE last Tuesday when he was on WWE NXT. The current NXT Champion, Oba Femi, issued a warning following the presence of the eight-time WWE Champion.
Earlier this week, Femi reached the top by defeating Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe to capture the NXT Championship. In the main event of the show, Rock made an appearance and addressed the live audience, closing out the episode.
In an interview with the Busted Open podcast, the new NXT Champion commented on The Rock’s presence following his title win. Femi stated that he didn’t realize his time was being taken up, but warned that he won’t let it slide if it happens again.
At the time my time was being taken, I didn’t even know it was being stolen. Maybe if I had known, I would have gone up to him and said, ‘Hey, Uncle Dwayne, what are you doing?’ This time I’ll let it slide. But the next time Uncle Dwayne shows up and steals my time, we’re going to be in trouble.
