The Rock’s confirmed return on WWE RAW may have spoiled the result of Tribal Combat, says analyst

The Rock has confirmed his return to WWE on RAW’s debut on Netflix. WWE analyst Sam Roberts suggested The Final Boss’ comeback may have spoiled the result of the Tribal Combat match between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa.

The OTC is set to square off against the leader of the new Bloodline this Monday on the premiere of the red brand on Netflix. The winner will be declared the only Tribal Chief. The Rock confirmed his appearance on the historic show ahead of the anticipated clash, declaring himself The High Chief. The 52-year-old legend was last seen at Bad Blood 2024, where he made a cryptic, cutthroat gesture to Reigns, Jimmy Uso, and Cody Rhodes.

Speaking on his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts suggested The Rock’s return tomorrow night would probably impact the Tribal Combat match. He claimed it would probably mean that Reigns would defeat Sikoa:

“This has to fit like a glove into Tribal Combat. I mean, to me, it’s like you’re now in a scenario where Roman Reigns can definitely win Tribal Combat. Roman Reigns can beat Solo Sikoa. What you’ve done here, what is The Final Boss? The ultimate villain. When you’re playing a video game, you go through this boss and that boss, level one boss, level two boss, level three boss. But then The Final Boss is the one where it’s like, ‘I thought I beat the game but I just can’t win because this guy’s too hard.’ It’s impossible to do. You can’t beat The Final Boss,” he said. The Rock could confront Roman Reigns on WWE RAW

On a previous episode of his Notsam Wrestling podcast, Sam Roberts claimed The Rock could interfere in the Tribal Combat to cost Roman Reigns the match. Meanwhile, he suggested another scenario.

The 41-year-old WWE analyst claimed The OTC could beat the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief before getting confronted by The Final Boss:

“Here’s where I would do it. Roman Reigns beats Solo Sikoa and has the Ula Fala back as The Tribal Chief, but then The Rock shows up. And The Rock stares him down, gets in the ring, not in the aisle, gets in the ring, stares him down, and maybe, that’s how we go off the show. Although, do you want The Rock vs. Roman Reigns to be for the Ula Fala? But is Solo Sikoa gonna hand the Ula Fala over to The Rock?” he said.

It will be interesting to see if the two huge WWE Superstars will indeed have a face-off on the premiere of RAW on Netflix.
