"This was definitely the highlight of the night" - Former WWE writer puts over Tiffany Stratton's Money in the Bank cash-in (Exclusive)

Tiffany Stratton finally cashed in her Money in the Bank contract this week on SmackDown. The Buff Barbie hit Nia Jax with a moonsault to claim the WWE Women’s Championship for himself.

Speaking on a recent episode of BroDown on Backstage Pass, Vince Russo put over Tiffany Stratton for successfully cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Nia Jax.

“I’m glad they finally did it. I’m glad they put the belt on her. I am a fan of Tiffany Stratton. I do like her. She’s got personality. She’s got the IT factor. The way they did this was good. Yeah… we said we like the package with the Motor City Machine Guns. Oh, but this was definitely the highlight of the night for me.” [From 34:15 onwards]

On the same podcast, Russo praised Bianca Belair for her impressive display of strength this week on WWE SmackDown. For those who didn’t watch, the EST picked the much bigger Nia Jax before taking several steps to plant her with the K.O.D.

“I got to tell you, man, and I talk about this all the time, freaking Bianca Belair is a beast. Oh my God, Mac, you and I could not pick up Nia Jax like that together. That is so freak… I don’t care how phony and worked Nia is getting up. I don’t give a cr*p. That was as impressive as hell.” [From 33:12 onwards]

The K.O.D. provided Tiffany Stratton enough time to hand plant Nia Jax with the moonsault and pin the champion for her title.

Fans will have to wait to see how Stratton’s first world title on the main roster run turns out.
