Top TNA Star Resigns During Genesis

One of the main matches at TNA Genesis, held at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, was the I Quit Match between Mike Santana and Josh Alexander, bringing resolution to one of the company’s current major rivalries.

Santana and Alexander battled intensely, with both having chances at victory, until an unexpected ending surprised everyone. Santana pressed Alexander’s face against the steel steps, forcing him to quit.

After the match, Santana took the microphone and thanked Alexander for the challenge, offering a handshake. Alexander surprisingly accepted the handshake and then announced his departure from TNA.

It remains to be seen what Alexander’s future in pro-wrestling will be, given that with the recent partnership with WWE, there’s a strong chance the former TNA World Champion could sign with the Endeavor-run company.
