WWE entered a new year with new possibilities as the landscape is set to change in the coming days. Meanwhile, one-half of the current NXT Tag Team Champions Axiom cleared the air on whether he hated Nathan Frazer.
Fraxiom was fine, according to Axiom, despite the duo visibly not being on the same page, but had managed to get the job done when defending their NXT Tag Team Championship. The two stars have unlimited potential and will likely eventually go their separate ways.
In an interview with MARCA, one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions, Axiom, was asked if he hated Nathan Frazer. The 27-year-old WWE star answered that he didn’t and that he had never hated his tag team partner even when they were rivals. He noted that both of them were very honest and didn’t pretend to agree whenever there was a disagreement between them.
“I don’t know why people say that. Honestly, there’s never been hate, not even when we were fighting each other. We’ve been rivals, and at least from my perspective, I’ve never hated him. Our issue is that we’re honest. Who has a completely perfect friendship? Who knows a friend and agrees with them 100% of the time? That doesn’t happen. Many people hide it or fake it, but we can’t do that,” Axiom said.
He said that no team was perfect and he would not shy away from letting Frazer know whenever his partner had erred. Moreover, he added there were no issues between them, and that Fraxiom was solid.
“Now, if he messes up and gets us a match on the same day he has a title contender’s match, I’ll tell him it’s a dumb move. But that doesn’t mean I won’t support him or give it my all, as we’ve always done. Honestly, we’re the best team in the world, we always say it. There are no issues—‘Fraxiom’ is solid. Whatever problems arise, we discuss and solve them, plain and simple,” Axiom added. [H/T: MARCA]
Fraxiom defended their WWE NXT Tag Team Championship twice in December 2024
Last year, Axiom and Nathan Frazer became the NXT Tag Team Champions when they defeated Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin. The two held it for months before dropping it to Chase University.
However, they regained the titles in less than no time, which eventually created a rift between the two. Lately, the two rising WWE Superstars don’t appear to be on the same page but claim that Fraxiom is fine.
Last month, apart from defending their NXT Tag Team Championship at WWE Deadline 2024, Frazer was also part of the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge. Luckily, the duo managed to walk out with a win and retain the gold.
