Triple H has botched one of WWE’s biggest storylines on Monday Night RAW; 2 former world champions are involved

A huge creative misstep seemingly happened this week on RAW that has derailed one of the biggest storylines in WWE. The latest edition of the red brand was filled with spectacular matches and segments. However, it was the blockbuster main event that became the talking point.
IYO SKY and Bianca Belair were on the same side
Following the main event of RAW, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill suffered a post-match ambush from Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. However, IYO SKY unexpectedly came to the rescue of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Belair and IYO joined forces and stood shoulder to shoulder in the same ring along with Naomi and Jade Cargill. Given The EST’s turbulent history with Damage CTRL, this surprising alliance raised many eyebrows. It gave rise to a very awkward situation as the two bitter rivals were on the same side.
Bianca Belair has a bitter history with Damage CTRL
On the other hand, Bianca Belair has bad blood with Bayley due to what Damage CTRL did to her a few years ago. Their feud on SmackDown was deeply personal and she still holds grudges against The Role Model. However, in contrast, Belair has no issues with IYO SKY, who was also involved in making her life miserable during that time, being a part of Damage CTRL.
The moment sparked a wave of criticism over Triple H’s booking, with many questioning the continuity error in such a compelling storyline. This was a major botch that contradicted The EST’s rationality. With a potential Women’s WarGames Match on the horizon, this creative misstep could undermine the intensity of the storyline.
Triple H had no valid reason to show behind the alliance
The fact that Bianca Belair had problems with Bayley but not with IYO SKY was a cliche and it had to be justified. However, WWE did not give any credible story as to why IYO SKY decided to help Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, causing a major loophole in the main event storyline on RAW.
Therefore, such a massive botch in a blockbuster feud leading up to Survivor Series raises questions about the Triple H-led creative team. Despite the two superstars being part of the same faction that feuded with the EST, there seems to be no clear reason why Belair still cannot stand Bayley but has no issues with IYO SKY.
