During a Royal Rumble preview discussion on his Talk’n Shop podcast with Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson addressed the possibility of WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H making a surprise appearance in the 2025 Royal Rumble match.

It doesn’t get better if The Game’s music hits and he comes out at the Royal Rumble. Where is he health-wise? I’ll tell you this much, dude, we weren’t with WWE when we heard he was sick and going through health issues, but the thought of Triple H being down and out or being sick or selling something, it’s too hard to believe. He’s too much of a man’s man. I think that would be one of the coolest [returns].

Triple H retired from in-ring competition in 2022 due to health concerns. The former WWE Champion stands as a two-time Royal Rumble winner, having captured victories in 2002 and 2016. Only Stone Cold Steve Austin has achieved more success in the match with three victories.

Currently serving as WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Triple H oversees the creative direction of the company, including determining the participants and winners of both the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches. He has consistently maintained that his in-ring career has concluded.
