Triple H’s warning to Randy Orton about Kevin Owens has proven prophetic, according to wrestling analyst Sam Roberts. His comments follow Owens’ attack on Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night’s Main Event, which left the Undisputed WWE Champion hospitalized.
“Everything counts, all this stuff—it’s all been kind of laid out. It was laid all out, and it’s like, ‘This is what we told you was coming,'” Roberts said on NotSam Wrestling, referencing Triple H’s earlier conversation with Orton.
Injury Updates
WWE confirmed Rhodes suffered axial compression of the cervical spine and cervical swelling after Owens delivered a package piledriver. Medical staff kept Rhodes overnight for observation.
The attack mirrors a recent incident where Owens sidelined Randy Orton with the same move. Roberts highlighted the connection to Triple H’s previous warning to Orton: “I’m not trying to protect Kevin Owens; I’m trying to protect you.”
The timeline for Rhodes’ return remains unclear, raising questions about the status of the Undisputed WWE Championship.
