Update on potential feud between CM Punk and Roman Reigns

WWE has not committed to scheduling a match between CM Punk and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, despite strong fan interest and impressive social media engagement from their Survivor Series: WarGames interaction, according to WrestleVotes.

“I know the numbers from Survivor Series, the social numbers, really opened some people’s eyes between Reigns and Punk. They were in the millions and millions of views. So, I know it’s on the table,” WrestleVotes reported during a Live Q&A on Backstage Pass.

The insider clarified that while the match remains a possibility, WWE appears focused on Punk’s ongoing program with Seth Rollins. “I wouldn’t hold my breath on it although it’s certainly a WrestleMania match. And if they decided to do, I’m not sure if people will be too mad at it. But I just don’t know if it’ll happen yet.”

Punk and Reigns have only faced each other once in singles competition, a decade ago. Their paths recently crossed when Punk joined Reigns’ team at Survivor Series: WarGames. Reigns is scheduled to face Solo Sikoa on January 6 in a Tribal Combat match.
