Veteran Warns WWE About Rivalry Between Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu

Jim Cornette warns WWE that pitting Solo Sikoa against Jacob Fatu could damage both Samoan performers due to their similar styles.

Legendary wrestling figure Jim Cornette has raised a red flag regarding WWE’s apparent plans to square off Solo Sikoa against Jacob Fatu. The industry veteran shared his concerns during a recent episode of his “Drive Thru” podcast, focusing on potential drawbacks of placing two performers with similar backgrounds and styles against each other.

Cornette believes fans would inevitably choose sides in such a rivalry, and he predicts the audience would not rally behind Sikoa. This presents a particular challenge for Solo, who briefly stepped into the leadership role of The Bloodline earlier this year before Roman Reigns returned to reclaim his position.

The situation appears especially problematic for Sikoa, who according to Cornette already faces difficulties connecting with WWE audiences. Putting him in a program against Fatu – someone with a similar style and heritage – might highlight Solo’s limitations rather than showcase his strengths. As WWE continues teasing tension between the Samoan stars, these concerns loom over the potential storyline direction.
