Vince and Linda McMahon revealed to be separated amid recent controversies

Report reveals Vince and Linda McMahon's separation as new controversies emerge around WWE. Attorney confirms split after decades-long marriage.

The Washington Post published an extensive article about Vince McMahon’s controversies as WWE’s owner, revealing that he and Linda McMahon are currently separated. The news came through Linda’s attorney, Laura Brevetti, during discussions about recent legal challenges facing the company.

The revelation emerged amid coverage of various controversies, including the Janel Grant lawsuit and Ring Boys scandal. Brevetti, who previously served as Vince McMahon’s attorney in his 1994 criminal trial, addressed these matters.

The McMahons married in 1966 and have two children, Shane and Stephanie McMahon, both of whom held significant positions within WWE. Linda’s last television appearance with the company occurred over a decade ago.

“The McMahons are currently separated, according to Linda’s attorney, Laura Brevetti, who called the ring boys lawsuit ‘baseless. [The lawsuit is] filled with scurrilous lies, exaggerations, and misrepresentations.”

Jim Ross reveals Vince McMahon’s doubts about Terry Taylor

Former WWE name Jim Ross shared insights about Vince McMahon’s perspective on current NXT trainer Terry Taylor. Despite Taylor’s opportunity as WWE’s head writer in 1999, following Ed Ferrara and Vince Russo’s departure to WCW, the position never became permanent.

“Terry was very opportunistic. I guess, in a nicer way, you could say he’s very ambitious, but Vince never had great belief in Terry for some reason. He never took him totally seriously. I don’t know exactly why, but Terry was never gonna get that job. Never gonna happen. And it didn’t.”

Taylor, who competed in over 400 bouts for WWE between 1980 and 1999, has served as an NXT trainer since 2012.
