Vince McMahon is already luring WWE management away to him based on recent events, claims veteran (Exclusive)
While Vince McMahon is unlikely to ever return to WWE, this hasn’t stopped him from apparently trying to recruit people from the company. A veteran recently connected the dots to develop a theory, claiming that certain suspicious events were not coincidental.
McMahon was recently rumored to have been working on a new venture, which would be an entertainment-based company. Reports also suggest that he was working with WWE alumni to achieve his goals. However, Vince Russo believes that even current names in the Stamford-based promotion may slowly gravitate towards McMahon’s new project.
Speaking on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Outlaws, the former WWE Head writer stated:
“In the same day, the same day, Bruce Prichard went home for a family emergency, and Michael Hayes went home for personal reasons. In the same day. Okay. You’re gonna tell me that’s coincidental. [When asked if the two are joining Vince McMahon] Yes, yes, they are starting to clean it out. They’re starting to clean it out, man, I am telling ya,” Russo said. [1:57 onwards]
A former WWE employee has previously talked about the backlash Vince McMahon could face
According to Eric Bischoff, Vince’s new rumored company may be off to a rocky start because of the circumstances.
Speaking on his 83 weeks podcast, Eric explained that owing to the allegations against McMahon, it is likely that many would not want to work with him. He stated:
“When I heard it, my reaction was okay, but why? It’s gonna be really tough.” He continued, “People’s reaction to that type of controversy is not good. I just can’t imagine there’s gonna be a lot of people that’d be interested in going into business with Vince McMahon at this point because of the backlash it would create.”
For now, it remains to be seen what Vince McMahon will do next and how he plans to deal with all these issues.
